This Privacy Policy explains what information StackifyX ("we", "us", "our") collects through the StackifyX website and platform (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. It describes our actual, current data practices — it does not describe features that are not yet part of the Service.

When you submit a project inquiry or contact form, we collect the details you provide, which may include your name, email, phone, company name, project type, budget range, and a description of your project.
If you communicate with our team through the platform's messaging feature, we store those messages so both you and our team can refer back to the conversation as part of managing your project.
If you upload files in connection with a project or inquiry (such as reference documents or briefs), those files are stored so our team can access them while working on your project.
Like most web applications, our hosting infrastructure may log standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) for security and operational purposes. We do not currently use dedicated analytics or advertising tracking tools on the Service.
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in after you log in. This cookie is required for authenticated features of the Service (such as your dashboard) to work, and is managed through our session store. We also use a small amount of browser local storage to remember your light/dark theme preference — this stays on your device and is not sent to our servers. We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

The Service integrates with third-party providers, including Google (for optional Google Sign-In), an email delivery provider (for account verification, notifications and password resets), and a payment processor (for handling payments on active projects). These providers process certain information as part of enabling that functionality and are subject to their own privacy practices.
Your information is stored in a MongoDB database. Passwords are hashed before storage and are never stored or displayed in plain text. We take reasonable measures appropriate to a platform of this size to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain account and project information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service to you. If you request account deletion, we will remove or anonymize your personal information except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or legitimate business purposes.
You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information associated with your account by contacting us at stackifyx@gmail.com. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection law; we will respond to verified requests in accordance with applicable requirements.
Account deletion is currently handled manually. To request deletion of your account and associated personal information, please contact us at stackifyx@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account.
The Service is intended for business and professional use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it.
Our hosting and third-party service providers may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where this occurs, we rely on those providers' own safeguards for cross-border data handling.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Service or for legal or operational reasons. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
